Human resources department is one of the most valuable assets of a company since it holds essential part for the company’s management system, which will affect the development of the whole structure of the company. In cooperation with BINUS Creates, PT PLN (Persero) established a training program called “Executive Education 1” to improve the competence of its human resources. The participants of this program were the top level of management from several branches of PT PLN (Persero) that are located in various regions in Indonesia. The target of BINUS Creates and PT PLN (Persero) was to create a refreshment program for the top level of management and also to plant and develop a breakthrough thinking amongst the participants.  It was also important for the program to prepare the participants to face the challenge of globalization era and to become future leaders with clear vision and mission, including the characteristics as leader – manager, change agent, entrepreneur and learner.

In this program, BINUS Creates worked withthe experts from several faculties of BINUS University such as the Faculty of Economic and Communication, School of Business Management, BINUS Institutional Development and Collaboration Center, BINUS IT Directorate and Graduate Programs. The lecturers deliveredthe materials for the training program that coveredskills and knowledge that were required for business development in globalization era.

The program ended with positive responses coming from the participants. “The management of this program by BINUS is quite good and arranged well. There is a different nuance that I experienced with the management from other institution. There is a differentiation from the management system that has been implemented by BINUS that affects the performance from the lecturers that enables them to deliver the materials livelier and more interesting,” said Ari Basuki, Vice President of PT. PJB.
