Prof. Dezie Leonarda Warganegara is a distinguished academic and finance expert who has been officially inaugurated as a Professor in the field of Financial Management at BINUS UNIVERSITY. Throughout her academic career, she has actively contributed to the advancement of finance and business education, particularly in the areas of financial inclusion, accounting, and financial management. Widely recognized for her academic leadership and expertise, she delivered a scientific oration titled “Realizing a Prosperous Indonesia Through Financial Inclusion: Challenges and Opportunities for Fintech,” highlighting the important role of financial technology in supporting economic development and inclusive growth. She earned her degree in Accounting from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, completed her MBA at West Texas State University, and obtained her Ph.D. from University of North Texas in 2001. Since joining BINUS UNIVERSITY in 2006, she has served in several strategic academic roles, including Accounting & Finance Program Head, and currently holds the position of Executive Dean of BINUS Business School.
